P!nk And Eminem Reunite And Wreak Havoc On New Song ‘Revenge’

Eminem’s been on a tear recently. Everyone’s talking about his Trump-blasting BET Cypher this week, while rumors of his highly anticipated ninth album continue to swirl. Now, he’s popped up again on a vengeful pop-rap collab from P!nk’s Beautiful Trauma, out today (October 13).

On “Revenge,” Em and P!nk seek retribution from their no-good, cheating exes. “I’m daydreamin’, let me count the ways / How I’ll get you or how I’ll make you pay / Babe, I’m hurtin’ and now you’ll feel the same,” P!nk casually sings over a bouncy instrumental that wouldn’t sound out of place on early Eminem albums. The rapper comes in later with an uncharacteristically laid-back verse, rhyming, “So when you’re driving, driving to his house / And you pass me while I’m driving to hers / Just remember, you cheated on me first / You’re a whore, you’re a whore, this is war.”

“Revenge” follows the duo’s previous collaborations: 2010’s “Won’t Back Down” and 2012’s “Here Comes the Weekend.” P!nk told Entertainment Weekly that Eminem’s involvement on “Revenge” was the result of some serious liquid courage.

“Max [Martin] and I started making [‘Revenge’], and I wrote this rap,” she said. “We were drinking a lot of wine, and then I went home and I thought more wine would be a good idea. I emailed [Eminem]. And I said, ‘You know I love you. I like that you work with a lot of the same people, like Rihanna. She’s hotter than me, but I’m funnier. So I’m going for a rap Grammy, and I’d like to take you along with me.’ It was this long email, and he wrote back right away and just said, ‘Okay.’”

Eminem sent his verse back four days later, and the rest is Grammy-aspiring history.

P!nk Told Her Daughter A Beautiful, Tear-Jerking Story At The VMAs

When P!nk took the VMA stage Sunday (August 27) to accept the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, the night’s most prestigious honor, she didn’t make the typical acceptance speech. Instead, she told a powerful story to Willow — her six-year-old daughter with husband Carey Hart — but her words resonated with fans watching from home and with the whole audience at the Forum in Inglewood, California.

You can watch and read her full speech below.

I know I don’t have a lot of time, but if I may tell you a quick story. Recently I was driving my daughter to school and she said to me, out of the blue, ‘Mama?’ I said, ‘Yes baby?’ She said, ‘I’m the ugliest girl I know.’ And I said, ‘Huh?’ And she was like, ‘Yeah, I look like a boy with long hair.’ And my brain went to, oh my god, you’re six, why — where is this coming from? Who said this? Can I kick a six-year-old’s ass? Like, what?

But I didn’t say anything and instead, I went home and made a PowerPoint presentation for her. And in that presentation were androgynous rock stars and artists that live their truth, [who] are probably made fun of every day of their life, and carry on and wave their flag and inspire the rest of us. And these are artists like Michael Jackson and David Bowie and Freddie Mercury and Annie Lenox and Prince and Janis Joplin and George Michael, Elton John — so many artists, her eyes glazed over.

But then I said, you know, I really want to know why you feel this way about yourself. And she said, ‘Well, I look like a boy.’ And I said, ‘Well, what do you think I look like?’ And she said, ‘Well, you’re beautiful.’ And I was like, well thanks, but I said, ‘When people make fun of me, that’s what they use.’ They say that I look like a boy, or I’m too masculine, or I have too many opinions, or my body is too strong. And I said to her, I said, ‘Do you see me growing my hair?’ She said, ‘No mama.’ I said, ‘Do you see me changing my body?’ ‘No mama.’ ‘Do you see me changing the way I present myself to the world?’ ‘No mama.’ ‘Do you see me selling out arenas all over the world?’ ‘Yes mama.’

OK. So, baby girl, we don’t change. We take the gravel and the shell and we make a pearl, and we help other people to change so that they can see more kinds of beauty. And to all the artists here, I’m so inspired by all of you, thank you for being your true selves and for lighting the way for us. I’m so inspired by you guys. There’s so much rad shit happening right now in music, and keep doing it, keep shining for the rest of us to see. And you, my darling girl, are beautiful and I love you. Thank you, MTV. This is a really special night. Thank you, Ellen [DeGeneres], I couldn’t love you more. Thank you guys. Good night.

The 2017 VMAs have touched down at the Forum in Inglewood, California, airing live on MTV. See the full list of winners and keep up with all of the night’s biggest VMA moments!

P!nk And Her Family Wore Matching Three-Piece Suits To The VMAs

P!nk doesn’t half-ass anything, especially special occasions, so leave it to her and her adorable family to show up to the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards in some seriously dapper duds.

The pop star – who will be honored at the ceremony tonight (August 27) with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award — opted for a three-piece suit for her pre-performance look, and husband, Carey Hart, and daughter, Willow Sage, did the same.

Baby Jameson is probably wearing a pin-striped onesie at home, as the little dude is a little young to enjoy the festivities in person.

That’s an award-winning wardrobe move if we’ve ever seen one, so P!nk’s started off her night at the VMAs on the right, perfectly-styled foot, for sure.

P!nk Dances Away The Pain In Mesmerizing New Music Video

P!nk lets her body do the talking in her latest music video, and by body, I mean her dance moves. “What About Us,” like many of her visuals, has some seriously impressive choreography. Did you really expect any less from an artist known for flying above her audience?

“What About Us” — off Beautiful Trauma, her upcoming seventh album due out October 13 — unfortunately doesn’t include any aerial stunts, but P!nk kills it even when she’s on the ground. The multiple dance routines reflect how complicated relationships — platonic, familial, or romantic — can become in the face of adversity.

After over 17 years in the music industry, P!nk clearly knows how to make a statement through her songs. That’s why she’s receiving the coveted Video Vanguard Award at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards later this month. She’s also performing during the big night, which includes sets by Katy Perry (the show’s host), Miley Cyrus, Kendrick Lamar, and more of your faves. Hopefully P!nk still has some high-flying tricks up her sleeve.

The 2017 VMAs touch down at the Forum in Inglewood, California, on Sunday, August 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. See the full list of nominees here and get voting now!
